Deep Blue
A short film exploring connection in the dark—art direction built around restraint, light, and a single honest feeling.
The challenge
Deep Blue is a story about reaching for someone in the dark. It needed a visual language that felt intimate and quiet—never sentimental—so the emotion could carry the film instead of the effects.
What we did
We art-directed a palette of deep blues and single points of warm light, letting negative space do the talking. Every frame was composed to feel like a held breath, with key art that extends the same mood beyond the screen.
The film found its audience because it trusted them to feel something without being told to.
